Third Time Lucky for Paul McCartney.

11 Oct

Sir Paul, 69, and the new Lady McCartney emerged beaming after their intimate wedding ceremony at Marylebone Register Office on Sunday. The couple became husband and wife in front of just 30 guests, including Sir Paul’s children from his first marriage, Mary, Stella and James, and his daughter Beatrice from his marriage to Heather Mills. Little Bea was the bridesmaid in a rose-pink coat over a pretty cream dress. Nancy opted for a demure ivory knee-length gown designed by Paul’s daughter Stella, with button detail down the front and on the sleeves and an ivory flower in her hair. The former Beatle wore a navy blue suit with a silk tie.

On Sunday morning, instead of spending the morning getting her hair and makeup done, Nancy took her fiancé to the gym for an early morning work out at the gym ahead of their nuptials. The couple, who boast a combined fortune of 700 million pounds, were seen leaving their London home in tracksuits looking happy and relaxed.

The reception was hosted in a huge marquee in the garden of Paul´s £8million St John’s Wood mansion. He and his 51-year-old bride danced to Beyoncé´s “Crazy in Love”, Amy  Winehouse’s hit “Valerie” and The Beatles’ own “Paperback Writer”, with Mark Ronson as the DJ. Sir Paul also sang his hit song “Let it be“. The newlyweds had their first dance to a song Sir Paul had composed and recorded for his bride, entitled “My Valentine“.

Guests, which included Kate Moss, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood and Pink Floyd guitarist Dave Gilmour tucked into a vegan feast and non-vintage Dumangin Grande Reserve champagne at £26.50 a bottle.

This is Paul´s third wedding…Let´s hope it´s third time lucky!

I heard on the news that they got told off for singing too loud at the reception, honestly, some people will complain for anything!!!
