Kim Kardashian married Kanye West on Saturday at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
The bride looked lovely in a Bespoke Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci long-sleeved wedding dress featuring sheer-paneled lace with a floor-length veil. Her daughter, North, donned a matching handmade dress and was carried by Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner down the aisle. The groom also chose Givenchy for his black tux with a white shirt and a black bow tie.
The couple said their vows in front of a giant wall of white flowers that included gardenias, peonies and roses from Paris and Belgium.
At the reception, guests dined on a 70-metre-long marble banquet table with a vantage point of the Florence skyline. The table was a gift from marble-craftsman Gualtiero Vannelli from a quarry in Carrara. The wedding meal was prepared by three-Michelin-star restaurateur Giorgio Pinchiorri.
Guests included Balmian designer Olivier Rousteing, Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis, Giuseppe Zanotti, rapper Tyga and his fiancee Blac Chyna, the hair stylist Clyde Haygood, Jayden Smith (Will Smith´s son), rappers Common & Big Sean, designer Tracey Mills, John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen, Franca Sozzani, Andre Leon Talley, Italian designer Valentino, LaLa Anthony and Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci.
A dance floor was set up in the garden of the fort and Kim and Kanye took their first dance together as husband and wife to John Legend performing the Etta James classic “At Last.” Lana Del Rey and Andrea Bocelli also performed.
West and Kardashian have treated 600 guests to an elaborate week in Paris. They hosted a pre-wedding dinner at Versailles on Friday night.
This will be Kim´s third marriage, she was married to Damon Thomas from 2000-2004 and to Kris Humphries for only 72 days in 2011, and the first marriage for Kanye.
