Winter Wedding Photos

6 Dec

The winter brings cold and wet weather but it´s also a season filled with festivities such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year (my birthday, hehe!)… I think that´s why I love winter weddings, they can be so romantic if you use the best of the season to your advantage! Last year I brought you a post filled with ideas and the dos & don´ts of winter weddings, this year I´ve spend a few days looking all over the internet to find the best photos of real winter weddings, what do you think?

What do you love about these pictures? I think the faux fur stoles are gorgeous, they look very old Hollywood glam 🙂

David and Kirsty´s Wedding

23 Nov

On the 8th of September, we were invited to David and Kirsty´s wedding, a gorgeous couple and good friend´s of ours. It was a very special day with a great combination of guests, Kirsty is Irish and David is Spanish and you could really appreciate that in their special day. The bride looked gorgeous in her lace, halter-neck, fitted dress, it went perfectly with her short, curly hairstyle and natural make-up. The groom also looked very handsome in his classic black suit which he teamed with a white shirt and black and white tie. The couple got married at sunset on Albir beach (it was so romantic!) with their beloved dog Benji as their best man. After the ceremony, they followed their guests to the Albir Playa hotel to continue the celebrations with their families and friends, it was a fantastic party with great food, tiny plastic wedding cake bubble blowers favours and a selection of sweets for those who felt peckish on the dancefloor! Take a look at the photos:

Disney-mad Couple Renew Vows Dressed as Mickey And Minnie Mouse!

14 Aug

Julie Webb-Flint and her husband Jason, both 42 from Kent, marked their 20-year anniversary by dressing up in life-size Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes and exchanging fresh vows.

The couple’s sons Liam, 17, and Luke, 15, joined in on the action by dressing up as Donald Duck and Goofy, and others guests dressed up as Daisy Duck, Woody from Toy Story, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, Shrek and Fiona, Rapunzel, Cinderella and Snow White. The traditional wedding march was replaced with the Mickey Mouse Club House theme tune and the couple left the ceremony to Shrek finale track, I’m a Believer by the Monkees followed by A Spoonful of Sugar from Mary Poppins.

Bride Julie said it all started off as a joke but people soon got excited about the idea; “I said the theme was Disney, thinking nothing of it, but suddenly everyone was looking online and finding who they wanted to be. I tried to keep track of who everyone said they were going to be, but we did end up with four people dressed as Pocahontas.”

I think this is such a cute idea!!
