Barbie and Ken´s Wedding!

6 Feb

I found these images investigating on Pinterest and I just had to share them with you! French photographer Beatrice de Guigne thought up this ingenious photo shoot and shared it with Rock n Roll Bride. Beatrice said in the interview: ‘Barbie & Ken were married at Faraway Castle, in Plasticity. The bride bought her dress from The Fairy Godmother shop and her shoes from the Cinderella Store. The groom wore a suit from The Prince Charming Emporium. The couple met more than 50 years ago (yes I know they look young). Barbie was tired of waiting so she asked Ken to get married.’

Aren´t these photos just amazing! I used to love Barbie dolls when I was a kid, and Ken and Barbie always got married in my games hehe!

Spoiler Alert! Gossip Girl Ending – Two Weddings and a Baby…

18 Dec

After 6 years of dramatic viewing, Gossip Girl has come to an end.. And what an end it is! Fans of the show were treated to two weddings, a baby and the ultimate revelation, the infamous GG blogger was, in fact, Dan Humphry!

The episode sees Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass tie the knot at the suggestion of Chuck’s Uncle Jack so Blair can’t testify against him after he becomes a suspect in his father’s death, while Serena van der Woodsen finally weds long-time love, Dan.

Blair looked absolutely gorgeous in her light blue lace Elie Saab wedding dress teamed with a silver leaf headpiece, alongside Chuck in a white and blue matching suit, and Serena and Dan made for a dashing couple at their wedding, she opted for an amazing ornate gold and cream full-skirted strapless Vera Wang dress and he complemented her perfectly in his grey suit.

The episode ends with a glimpse into the future, five years on Nate is running for mayor of New York City and Blair and Chuck have a son named Henry who is dressed in a cute little suit like his dad! And although Dan declared Gossip Girl ‘dead’, that doesn’t seem to be the case and the series ends with a voiceover declaring ‘You may be rid of Dan Humphry but you’ll never be rid of me. There’ll always be someone on the outside wanting to get in. Who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. XoXo. Gossip Girl.’
