Bridal Fashion Week New York – Fall 2014 – Best Designers

19 Oct

We´re continuing our Bridal Fashion Week coverage with more lovely dreses, this time from the Fall 2014 collections. As there are quite a few dresses, we´ve divided it into two posts.

We have dresses by Adriana Alier by Rosa Clará with her classic Spanish designs, by Amsale; who brings us a massive selection of all types of dresses for every kind of bride, by Austin Scarlett; ivory is the theme of her collection, by Christos; the floaty skirts are amazing, by Claire Pettibone; one of Bodastory´s favourite designers, we love her floral detailing, by Eugenia Couture; a brand we hadn´t heard of before, but we liked her bateau necklines, by Eve of Milady; who brings us numbers with gorgeous lace and jewels, by Jenny Packham, her 20s style looks make her another one of our favourites, and by Jim Hjelm; his fab selection of colourful gowns are great for brides, bridesmaids and guests alike.

Bridal Fashion Week New York – Spring 2014 – Best Designers

19 Oct

This year´s Bridal Market included lots of gorgeous new styles in all different colours.. Jeweled necklines, sexy open backs, short silhouettes, thigh-high splits and tulle and pleated overlays all in white, nudes, pinks, greys and even blues! This season is all about wowing your guests!

In this post I´ve brought together all the Spring designs by Alvina Valenta; I love her short sparkly number with purple tulle overlay, Hayley Paige; her ivory ‘Kadence’ lace fit to flare dress with a strapless jewel encrusted neckline is beautiful, Maggie Sottero; the gold detailing on her dresses is so unique, Monique Lhuillier; who we all know one of my favourite designers, Pronovias; long-sleeves and detailed necklines figure hugely in this beautiful collection, Watters; the ‘Ghila’ A-line wedding dress with illusion bateau bodice in silk charmeuse and the bridesmaid dresses are gorgeous, and Winnie Couture; who has picked sweetheart necklines with a variety of add-ons as the main jewel in her collection.

Paris Haute Couture S/S 2013 – Giambattista Valli

24 Jan

Giambattista Valli´s new collection seems like a combination between two lines, one with strong, defined silhouettes and clinched-in 50s style waists, and the other with a more romantic feel but that left us K.O with it´s gorgeous full, tulle skirts and floral appliques:
