Michael Jordan Engaged

Phew, what a week for celebrity engagements! The latest person to get down on one knee is basketball legend, Michael Jordon, 48, who proposed to his Cuban-American model girlfriend, Yvette Prieto.

A spokesperson for the sports icon confirmed the news yesterday, but photos of the ring have yet to be released.. However, it´s rumored to be in the 7 figure range!

The couple have been together for 3 years. No wedding date has been announced yet.

This will be Jordan´s second marriage, he was married to Juanita Vanoy from 1989 until he divorced her in 2006. The former star athlete has 3 children from that union, Jeffrey Michael, 23, Marcus James, 21, and Jasmine, 19.

Matthew McConaughey engaged.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actor has proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Camila Alves. Matthew popped the question on Christmas Day, announcing on Twitter “Just asked Camila to marry me, #Merry Christmas” along with a picture of the happy couple kissing.

McConaughey and Alves met in a bar in 2006 and have two children together, Levi, born in 2008 and Vida, born in 2010.

The proposal may have been a bit of a surprise to Alves, who recently told the press they had no plans for marriage, however, Matthew spoke to Esquire earlier this year about his desire to settle down. “I found the woman… I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together,” he said.

The couple have yet to announce a wedding date.

Steven Tyler Engaged?

Dude looks like a fiancé? The Aerosmith frontman is reportedly ready to marry again for the third time. His girlfriend of 5 years, Erin Brady was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger while in Maui during their Christmas vacation, sparking Internet reports that a wedding is in the works.

Tyler, 68, divorced his second wife, clothing designer Teresa Barrick, in 2006 after 18 years of marriage and was also married to model Cyrinda Foxe from 1978 until 1987.

And while the two lovebirds seemed really happy, Tyler’s family is reportedly none too pleased about the engagement. “She’s just not nice,” an insider said “She’s just mean to the family,” the source added.

The Walk This Way singer and Brady, 38, will discuss their relationship on the premiere episode of Oprah Winfrey‘s new show Oprah´s Next Chapter on Sunday 1st January.
