Johnny Depp and Amber Heard tie the knot!

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have tied the knot at their home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to sources.

As People previously reported, the couple will be joined at his Little Hall’s Pond Cay island home in the Bahamas this weekend by their family and friends for a bigger wedding still to come. Heard is said to have chosen a gown by  Stella McCartney for the ceremony.

Johnny, 51, and Amber, 28, got engaged over Christmas in 2012 after meeting on the set of 2011’s The Rum Diary.

Stephen Fry gets engaged!

Stephen Fry is engaged to his boyfriend of a year, Elliott Spencer. They registered to marry in Norfolk, where Fry grew up, just before Christmas.

The 27-year-old writer and comedian is the son of a property developer Robert, 57, who is believed be a millionaire. When asked what he thought of his son´s engagement Robert said he and his wife Melanie, 52, are ‘very happy and over the moon’.

The 57-year-old QI star and his partner wore matching engagement rings as they talked to the press about their news outside their Piccadilly home. Stephen said: ‘We are off now to celebrate our engagement. We won’t be going abroad until after the Baftas.’ Stephen will host the awards for the tenth time next month.

Mr Fry added: ‘Our engagement rings are very similar, both are made of Rhodium and are almost matching.’

When asked about the wedding date he said: ‘Now, we won’t be giving that away. And I’m sorry to say you won’t be invited. It will be some time this year, as you have to give a year’s notice.’

This morning Stephen confirmed the news on Twitter: ‘Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag. I’m very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance! Thank you all SO much for your kind congratulations. Deeply touched xxx’.

Friends of Stephen have spoken of the joy that Elliot has brought to his life, with one telling The Sun: ‘Since Stephen met Elliott, it is like he has a new lust for life. We’ve got the old Stephen back. He has found new hope in Elliott and they thrive off each other.’ (Fry separated from his partner of the past 14 years Daniel Cohen in 2010, which led to a suicide attempt in 2012.)

This will be the first marriage for both of them.
